Mark Louis Cindric, 63 years, of Leith, Pa., passed away peacefully Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his home. He was born October 18, 1954 in Uniontown Pa Preceding him in death were his parents, John Cindric and Clara Audrey (Teich) Cindric his loving wife, Karen Lee (Sofish) Cindric on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 one brother, Raymond Cindric a brother-in-law, John Fred Liedlich and his loving dog, Bumper.
Mark retired as a Press Room Supervisor for the Herald-Standard Newspapers after over 45 years of service. He began his career at the newspaper as a Newspaper Carrier for five years prior to becoming a full-time employee. Mark was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, American Legion Post 51, Catholic War Veterans, and Brownsville Lodge No. 60 F. & A. M. He was a phenomenal cook and baker and enjoyed playing baseball, golfing and softball. Mark played on the Apollo 11 Softball Team for many years. He loved his children and his only grand daughter, Kaelyn. Surviving are three children: Michael A. Cindric, Daniel A. Cindric and wife Melissa and Cristen A. Cindric all of Uniontown, Pa. granddaughter, Kaelyn L. Suba one brother, Jay Cindric and wife Madelyn of Uniontown, Pa. two sisters: Gloria (Cindric) Liedlich of Forest Hill, Maryland and Pamela (Cindric) Giachetti and husband Vince of Uniontown, Pa. his granddog, "Glitter."
Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., this evening from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 prior to a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. Time of the Mass will be announced.
