William I. "Pooh "Bear" Jeffries, age 62, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away suddenly Saturday, March 29, 2014 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born Monday, March 24, 1952 the son of Isaac Jeffries and Elizabeth (Campbell) Jeffries in Uniontown, Pa. William was a Lifetime Member of the Coolspring A.C. Club and also the Polish Club in Uniontown, Pa. He was the owner of Jeffries Radiator Shop in Hopwood. He was predeceased by his parents and by his uncle, Roy E. Durst. Surviving are his loving companion, Tonya Karpel, and his aunt, Bertha M. Durst, both of Hopwood.
Friends will be received in the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home, Hopwood, Pa., on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and Wednesday, April 2, 2014 until 11:00 a.m. the hour of the service.
