Maureen Rae (Kurcina) Gibson, 63, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the Uniontown Hospital. Maureen was born on July 21, 1954, a daughter of Robert Kurcina, who preceded her in death, and Margaret Hynek. She was the loving mother of Debra, Todd, and Brett Gibson. She is also survived by her mother, Margaret Hynek sister, Dolores Kurcina Smith and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Maureen worked for many years helping the handicapped as an employee of the Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration. She was an active member of the Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church.
Friends will be received in STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., Tuesday, May 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 16, until 12 Noon when a Blessing Service will be held. Rev.
