Joyce Lasko Poremba, 70, of Uniontown, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in the WVU Uniontown Hospital. She was born April 1, 1954, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Joseph Lasko and Louise M. Valosky Lasko.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lasko and sister, Barbara Caldwell.
Joyce was a 1972 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School. She worked as a licensed practical nurse for many years before retirement. Joyce was a member of the Anchor Fellowship Church.
Left to cherish Joyce’s memory are her loving husband, Andrew R. Poremba, Jr. a son, Doug Lasko of Pittsburgh a daughter, Amy Kish and husband Todd of Adah stepchildren, Jullian Poremba of Pittsburgh and Andrea Poremba of Derry brothers, Jerry Lasko and Frank Lasko, both of Uniontown, and Ed Lasko of Middletown, Del. and sister, Joanne Stump, also of Middletown.
