Charles R. Marcinko Jr, age 62 of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Tuesday August 23,2016 after a hard fought battle with gastric cancer. Chuck was born on August 11,1954 the son of the late Charles and the late Maryann (Richnavsky) Marcinko.
As a boy Chuck was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a 1972 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School. Chuck was the owner and operator of Tri County Tire for the past 20 years. He worked side by side with his sons Charlie and Chris making it a family owned business. He was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Church and a long time member of the Elks B.P.O.E. 370 He is survived by his loving wife of forty years Paulette (Mosako) Marcinko, 2 loving sons Charles Marcinko III of Fairchance,and Christopher Marcinko and Livia Poling of Uniontown , his much loved granddaughter Irelynn Marie, 3 sisters Linda Mackey and husband Bill, Kathy Pastories and husband Larry, and Pam Johnston and husband Jim, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in the Thomas M Dolfi Funeral Home 136 N Gallatin Ave Uniontown on Friday, August 26,2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 Pm and on Saturday August 27,2016 until 9:30 Am at which time a blessing service will be held. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese de Lisieux Church. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. The family is requesting donations to be made payable to It’s about the Warrior Foundation P.O. Box 2043 Butler, PA 16003 in Chucks name.
