Geraldine Ann Springer Mills, 56, of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, August 19, 2008, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born July 20, 1952, in Uniontown. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Springer and her husband, Dayton E. Mills, Jr. on February 19, 2008.
Geraldine was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Oliver, Pa., and she was a very avid Bingo player. She is survived by her mother, Mary Annabell Bock Springer of Uniontown two children: Tara Lynn Mills and her special friend Paul Holland and Chad Eugene Mills and wife Shirley all of Uniontown seven grandchildren: Tayla, Tyler, Jessica, Chad, Jr., Samantha, Daniel and Jennifer four siblings: Bernard (Butch) Springer and his speical friend, Pat Koen and Faye Campbell and husband Ray all of Uniontown, and Ed Springer and wife Shelley and Gary Springer and wife Loretta all of Uledi, Pa. and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 11 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Ewing Marietta officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
