Gary Wilson, "Zook", age 57 of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2010 in U P M C Montefiore, Pittsburgh, Pennsyl-vania. He was born April 21, 1953 in Uniontown, son of Peter Wilson and Gertrude Dean Wilson.
"Zook" graduated from Laurel Highlands High School in the Class of 1972. He retired from Dilworth Mine. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church of God and was very strong in his faith. He was into classic cars, especially his 1934 Chevrolet Coupe, and had a love for golf. Gary was preceded in death by his parents three brothers, Ken Wilson, Jerry Wilson and Charles Wilson and by his father-in-law, Thomas Gallo.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Pam (Gallo) Wilson his son Justin Wilson and daughter Krista Wilson both at home ten brothers and sisters: Billy Wilson of Shreveport, Louisiana, Delbert Wilson and his wife Bernice of Bossier City, Louisiana, Marston Wilson and his wife Dawn of Moore, Oklahoma, Sarah Hall and her husband Harold, Jacksonville, Florida, Gladys King of Uniontown, Erma Jean Hann and husband Bill of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Dolores Prough, Glenn Wilson and his wife Karen, Gerald Wilson and James Wilson and his wife Bonnie all of Uniontown his mother-in-law, Ernestine Gallo many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL H O M E, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania today (June 1) from 1 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. the hour of Service with Pastor Stan Flasher officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
